Follow These Easy Steps and You Can Make Your Own Metallicard Music Video:
1. Download and install newest version of Realplayer, www.real.com, it allows you to download videos from youtube (and other video sites) into .flv file format.
2. Go to youtube, find your Yellowcard clip, place mouse cursor over video, you'll see, "Download This Video" with a realplayer icon. The video will download to a Realplayer Download folder in the My Documents/My Video/ folder.
3. Download and install this free FLV to AVI converter called Pazera. http://download.cnet.com/Pazera-Free-FLV-to-AVI-Converter/3000-2194_4-10786669.html?tag=mncol
4. Convert the downloaded youtube video to mpg format. Even though it is a FLV to AVI converter, it can also convert to mpg, so far, they seem to edit well in a video editing program.
5. On youtube, find the song you want to use in the video. Use a website called Zamzar INSTEAD of the realplayer download to get the song. http://www.zamzar.com/
6. On Zamzar, choose to download and convert video to a MP3 file. Provide e-mail address and they will e-mail you a download link once the conversion has completed.
7. Open Windows Movie Maker, import your Yellowcard videos and Metallica song and show the world DJ Drewie Drew's favorite band, Metallicard!!!
***Note***
Once the video is complete, upload the video through the blog "New Post" feature. Youtube may flag and mute the song in the video.
